Further to the regulations introduced by Legislative Decree 196/03 (the "Personal Data Protection Act", referred to hereinafter as the "Act"), we inform you herewith of the use which may be made of personal data acquired in relation to current or future contractual relations with you.

All the data gathered will be handled in compliance with current law, and in any case with due confidentiality.

The purposes of processing your data

The sole purpose of the collection and handling of personal data is to adequately fulfil commercial obligations: the preliminaries to the entering into of contracts; the fulfilment of contractual obligations with the party concerned in the execution of a document, a number of documents or a series of operations required to fulfil said obligations; the compliance with obligations related or instrumental to contracts vis-à-vis public or private bodies; the fulfilment of legal obligations.

Data processing methods

The data may be processed in relation to the above-mentioned purposes using manual, electronic and telematic devices in accordance with criteria which are strictly related to the purposes, and in any case so as to ensure the security and confidentiality of the data in compliance with the Act.

Optional nature of the provision of data

The provision of personal data is optional. However, the refusal to provide personal data will make it impossible for us to provide you with certain services.

Communication and dissemination of data

We may "communicate" your data; in other words, they may be made known to one or more parties, such as:

  • parties within our organisation who are tasked with processing your data subject to a letter of appointment obliging them to ensure that the data remain secure and confidential; an up-to-date list of said data handlers is available at our offices;
  • external associates who need to access your data for ancillary purposes in connection with relations between us and you, strictly within the limits required for the performance of such tasks as have been assigned to them, for example: our staff, credit institutions, forwarders, consultants and/or companies providing outsourced administration and accounting services, legal advice etc. These parties may take on the data in their capacity as independent data processors or controllers*, subject to providing us with adequate guarantees that their handling of the data will comply with Data Protection Act no. 196 dated 30 June 2003. A complete, up-to-date list is kept at our offices.

* Independent data controllers operate separately on the basis of this information notice and consent, where necessary, for the purposes required for the correct performance of relations which have been or will be established with us; should such parties, on the other hand, intend to process the data for other purposes, they must obtain your separate consent and inform you in advance.

Your data may be transmitted to parties who may access them by virtue of and within the limits of legal provisions, regulations or community rules. Your data may also be used for reference purposes and communicated to certain parties, without being subject to general dissemination.

The data may be transferred abroad, both inside and outside the EU, subject to compliance with legal provisions.
